Creative Circles: Day 1
I’m doing a fun creative drawing challenge.

Today’s 10-minute challenge was about training divergent thinking, about coming up with different ideas. I drew 16 circles and then used these circles to draw recognizable pictures.
I’ve done this exercise with my high school students when we were talking about coming up with unique script ideas. The task is to come up with as many different ideas as possible in a short amount of time without censoring yourself or judging what you’re creating.
I drew 8 more circles after I finished the first 16 to keep busy for the full 10 minutes.
Here are my objects: balloon, ice cream, wheel, toilet, cow, turtle, fish, sun, moon, basketball, rabbit, alien, snowman, saturn, ring, open baby mouth, coin, traffic lights, snail, sunflower, hand, tornado.
