Lawn Boy (Gary Paulsen)
I’m reading a fun book about a 12-year-old boy who got his grandfather’s old riding lawnmower from his grandmother. He started mowing lawns for money over his summer break and his business exploded. Each chapter of the book escalates his wealth in a humorous way as a new phase of his business is introduced.
I wish the same thing happened to me when I was younger. I wish I’d started a small business of some sort, which then just grew over the years.
Wait a moment.
I did start a business when I was younger.
The business of being Quenntis Vernonn Ashby.
I’m my own business. And so are you. You are your own business, too!
We invest time and money in our education and our families and our friends and we grow up to be good citizens.
With all of my education and my experience of participating in this crazy world, I have a lot to offer myself and others.
How can “Quenntis” expand in 2025?
